Day Forty Four

Ooh my little loves!!!

So happy Miss Daisy is ok!

Happy Easter!!

What a lovely day I had with my family and friends!

Started out with Sunrise Service at Red Rocks with Jihee, Steven, and Sarah!

We just about froze, but it was beautiful!

5:30am!

Next, I was off to my parents/grandparents! We went to Church in Arvada (after I napped with my pups!)  then went home and ate WAY too much delicious food! My contribution to the meal was dessert. I got myself into quite the project for a few days, but it turned out so cute and I think everyone really enjoyed it!

So! I made cake balls...used confetti cake with strawberry frosting!

Next, I coated the cake balls with candy melts....I had to dye it yellow so that....

....I could make little chicks!!

Finished!! They just make me giggle!! AND they didn't taste too bad either!

What a wonderful day! However, I've been up since 3:30am and, even though I snuck in two naps, I'm still pretty dang tired!

Day Forty Three

My poor neglected blog! Here are some randoms to catch up with!!

Denver Cathedral! I took this a few months back during one of snowstorms.

Nate and I went to the Unwritten Law show last night! Had a ton of fun!

This is down in the courtyard by our pool. We barbecued! Despite how wintery the picture looks, it was a beautiful day!

So! Nate and I ventured to American Furniture Warehouse today in search of some end tables for our apartment. We left with 2 end tables, a new coffee table, and two new awesome lamps!

It was exciting :)

I forgot to mention, Truffles was a huge help while we were assembling all of the tables!

Hi kitty! (She was very sad when we took out all of the trash/boxes....I think she thought it was her new playground.

And finally, our new setup! I swear it makes our apartment seem twice as big. 

We love it!

Yay!! Another milestone day! 

How appropriate that this post is just for Nate, to celebrate his milestone in his career!

At the beginning of March, Nate was promoted to Executive Chef of The Lobby!

I'm so happy for him. He absolutely deserves it considering how hard he constantly works and how talented he is.

Last night was the launch of his new menu. I went (of course!) with some amazing people and had a wonderful night filled with even better food!

I got a sneak peek of one of Nate's new menu items

in the comfort of our home! :)

Day Thirty Eight

Happy Birthday, Dad!!!

Today was my Dad's 50th Birthday! Nate and I went out to Golden and met Dad and Anna at Coors for a short tour! Had some beers and laughs...good times! Then we went back to my parents house and had an AMAZING dinner. And then of course we finished the night off with cake and ice cream! I'm still full :)

Anyways, my dad is the most inspirational, loving, supportive dad I could ever imagine having! 

Happy Birthday Dad! I love you! Thanks for being the best!
