US Pro Cycling Challenge

My family and I had front row seats to the last leg of the US Pro Cycling Challenge.  The race went by right in front of my parents/grandparents houses! 

We had a fun day...Nanny made brunch and we all sat out in Papa's nicely decorated yard and waited for the race to go by.  It was insane how fast they were going.  Like a true photographer, I saw the whole thing only through my view finder! Haha!

Once again, poor neglected blog!

For the past 3 years, Nate and I have ventured to the mountains to check out the Perseids Meteor Shower. We always have tons of fun! This year, we decided to go to Gilpin County to "camp", picnic, and watch the show and, although things didn't go exactly as planned, it was a perfect night.

So...It was a full moon.  Needless to say, this cemetery (with the gate wide open!) totally gave me the heebie jeebies!

Lightened it up and dropped the contrast...check out the orbs!!! Whew, goosebumps!

You can kind of see them in the black and white one if you look closely, especially the one in the tree

The full moon kind of ruined our chance to see many meteors but it was still quite beautiful

Yeah...we had boxed wine :) 

Our 2 year anniversary gift exchange! Nate gave me the beautiful necklace (obviously!) and I made him a scrapbook of our adventures from the past few years!

We had such a fun, random, amazing night!!

Girls Day at the Fair

My friend Renee and I spent the day Sunday at the Denver County Fair! 

We had lots of fun looking at all the animals, checking out the booths, even rode the ferris wheel and saw quite the interesting fashion show...sorry, no pictures of it though!

They were best buds

Haha! Apparently the baby was more appetizing than the oats or whatever they were feeding!
