Day Twenty (Plus One)

Hooray! I made it to Day Twenty! So I've decided to add an extra photo for today! (Plus the sunset was AMAZING and I just had to share!!)
I've been waiting for a beautiful sunset ever since we moved in...so while I was sitting here posting miss Truffles model shot, I glanced outside and noticed the sky was pink! I got so excited, grabbed my camera, and ran out to the community deck to take some pictures of the clouds over the mountains..and this is what I found instead!!

Wow...I'm just so speechless..

Day Twenty

Well, I guess since miss Daisy and miss Schatzi both made it onto my blog, it's time for little miss Truffles!! Such a cute little kitty!

She only looks sweet and innocent..

Day Eighteen

My grandparents asked me to take this picture last fall.  My grandpa built the shack when they first moved into their house.  It made a beautiful scene along with the vibrant fall colors of the tree!

Day Fifteen

This is from the same photo adventure as the cow picture I posted before! Our original goal was to get a nice shot of one of these oil pumps since Matt (my brother) and Jackie (his lovely fiancee) are both petroleum engineers!

I feel like they are the types of things that everyone passes by without noticing. But if you actually stop and look at them, they are pretty neat pieces of machinery.

Day Fourteen

Self Portrait :)

Day Thirteen

Hello Lovely followers!! So! We finally got all moved in and settled and FINALLY have internet! :) I know I have a lot of catching up to do..

It sure feels like spring today!...and what does that mean? BASEBALL!!

Love the facial expression. Ha!

Day Twelve

My pretty little Jelly Fish at the National Aquarium.  I was so pleased with how these turned out since they were taken through glass!

I played with the color a bit just to make them "pop" out a little more!

Day Eleven

Last spring, my friend Jihee went to a seminar in DC and invited me to join her! I was so excited since our first adventure was so awesome! And because I love her of course! We had a great time...revisited some of our favorite restaurants from our first adventure, found some new places, AND did New York in a DAY!! It was amazing. Exhausting, but amazing!!!

(Unfortunately, I didn't have my Nikon on this vacation, only my Point and Shoot, so the quality isn't perfect. Still a cool picture though!)

I took this from the top of the Empire State Building. Such a fascinating city!

Day Ten

I've been trying to get a nice shot of this beautiful tree ever since I became interested in photography.  I guess you could say I "grew up" with it since its in the backyard of the house that I've lived in for the past 20 years.  I was never happy with any of the pictures I took of it in the past...they just weren't appealing to me for whatever reason. And now that I'm moving out in less than a week, I've gotten two beautiful shots of the old tree.
:D

Enjoy!!

Day Eight

Oh my!! I've been slacking...a whole week without a post :( sorry friends! Things have been busy! Moving in less than 2 weeks! Starting my new job a few weeks after that! Such an exciting time :D
This photo was taken in Vegas! I was lucky enough to spend my 21st Birthday there with Nate and a few others. He made the mistake of buying mirrored sunglasses so, of course, I was constantly taking pictures of his face...just like always! (Mirrored glasses or not!) hehe Anyways, I believe the painting that is reflected in his glasses was in an art gallery in the Venetian. Such a cool piece of artwork!
This was also in Vegas...maybe even in the Venetian? Beautiful umbrellas hanging from the ceiling! I love the shapes and colors!
Every year, my grandparents spend a day in Estes Park to watch the elk bugle. They have a whole routine...drive up in the morning, get lunch at a local burger joint, walk around downtown Estes, buy cookies, then drive into Rocky Mountain National Park and enjoy the wildlife! :) This big guy was actually in town in one of the ponds at the golf course! I was so happy Nate was able to join us this year, we had a really great time :)

.....I LOVE YOU!!!
This is Nate..my love and my best friend!
